A $3,000 relocation or sign-on bonus is available for this position! RAYUS Radiology is seeking a CT and C-arm Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will operate assigned scanners to capture diagnostic images of patients’ bodies. With a patient-centered approach, you will deliver scanning services that adhere to professional standards while providing excellent customer care. Patients come to our centers seeking answers, and you will support them through this sometimes challenging process by patiently guiding them through each step and addressing their questions and concerns about exam procedures. This part-time role typically involves working 72 hours per pay period (0.9 status) Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, and includes weekend rotations without on-call duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
(90%) Patient Imaging
- Screens patient before exam for any precautions or contradictions pertaining to examination, using two patient identifiers to ensure correct patient and procedure
- Explains and prepares patients for scanning imaging procedures that will be performed, explaining the procedure, positioning patients so that the parts of the body can be appropriately
- Conducts routine and advanced imaging scans on specified body areas to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating illnesses or injuries, requiring minimal supervision or retakes, while offering continuous patient support by communicating with them throughout the procedure.
- Adjusts scanning scan parameters correctly and as needed, utilizing dose reduction techniques as appropriate
- Maintains positive attitude and working relationships with radiologist, referring customers and other associates and peers
- Strictly adheres to physicians' instructions and complies with safety regulations to ensure the protection of yourself, patients, and coworkers.
- Accurately maintains patient records within Radiology Information System (RIS)
- Maintains an orderly and clean work area promoting good safety habits for patients and co-workers
- Maintains ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements
- Maintains equipment in good working order; cleans and disinfects equipment after each use
- Ensures compliance with all HIPAA guidelines
(5%) Department Support
- Helps keep the imaging protocol manual current and supports software upgrade processes.
- Monitors medical supply inventory and requests supplies as necessary
- Assists with training of new associates, providing resource and technical expertise, as applicable

Requirements
Required:
- ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing
- Graduate of the American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography
- Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
- Must have training and experience sufficient to competently perform scanning procedures independently
Preferred:
- CT certification
- Bilingual
