The pay range for this position is $27.84- $47 based on direct and relevant experience.
The shift for this position is Monday- Friday rotating Saturdays 8:00am-4:30pm.
RAYUS Radiology, formerly known as the Center for Diagnostic Imaging, is currently hiring a Float Mammography Technologist to be part of their team. The main duties include performing mammography exams on patients of all ages to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases or injuries. This is a full-time position with working hours scheduled from Monday to Friday, including rotating Saturdays from 8 am to 4:30 pm at the Beaverton, OR facility. There is also the possibility of receiving training in Mammography beyond the regular responsibilities.
You'll be involved in a group delivering a wide variety of screening, diagnostic, and interventional processes with empathy and integrity to ensure the best quality, accessibility, service, and value for our patients, referring providers, and partners. Your role in this undertaking is important as you make use of your understanding of the principles and techniques of diagnostic radiology and mammography, as well as the operation and maintenance of radiologic equipment.
Essential Duties:
(55%) Patient Care & Imaging
- Acquires diagnostic images in designated area and executes assigned quality assurance assignments
- Checks for any precautions or contradictions in patients prior to conducting the examination
- The focus of mammography examinations is on providing results that adhere to a high standard of quality, benefiting both the patient and the healthcare practitioner involved in their care
- Fosters and motivates the nurturing of excellent customer relationships with patients, physicians, visitors, and colleagues
- Regulates the upkeep and alterations of machinery
(40%) Department Support
- Participates in team meetings with the inclusion of staff members
- Ensures the maintenance of positive interactions with radiologists and physicians who refer clients to the company
- Helps in the upkeep of a contemporary radiography protocol compendium
- Precisely manages patient data in the Radiology Information Software solution
- Adheres to cleanliness and organization standards in the work area to reinforce safety habits for both patients and peers
- Offers support in training new staff members, sharing expertise and helpful resources
(5%) Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
Required:
- ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing
- Graduate of the American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
- Must have training and experience sufficient to competently perform radiographic procedures independently
- Advanced modality certification
- Must have continuing CEU's in modality as required by MQSA or state specific
