Our Outpatient Centers equipped with MRI services are located in Bellevue, Issaquah, Kirkland, Northgate Seattle, and Everett. We offer dayshifts, evenings, or weekend shifts to fit your schedule. The pay range for the MR Technologist is $38 - $53.82 based on direct and relevant experience. 

RAYUS Radiology, formerly Center for Diagnostic Imaging and Insight Imaging, is looking for an MRI Technologist to join our team. We are challenging the status quo by shining light on radiology and making it a critical first step in diagnosis and proper treatment. Come join us and shine brighter together! As an MRI Technologist, you will operate your assigned scanner(s) to produce images of the patient's body for diagnostic purposes. Taking a patient centered approach, you will provide MRI services within professional standards and with excellent customer service. Each patient comes to our centers looking for answers. You will guide patients through this sometimes difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

(90%) Patient MRI Imaging

  • The patient is examined for any precautions or contradictions concerning the examination, and two patient identifiers are employed to ascertain the accurate patient and procedure with precision
  • Supports patients in getting ready for MRI scans by clarifying the procedure and positioning them suitably for optimal visualization of anatomical regions
  • Conducts routine and specialized MRI tests on designated body regions to help physicians in diagnosing and treating patient illnesses and injuries with minimal supervision or repeated scans, while also providing patient assistance through verbal interaction during the procedure
  • Modifies MRI scan settings correctly and as deemed suitable
  • Upholds a positive attitude and nurtures professional relationships with radiologists, referring clients, and fellow associates
  • Follow medical guidelines meticulously and adhere to safety protocols diligently to ensure the well-being of yourself, patients, and colleagues
  • Upholds the accuracy of patient files in the Radiology Information System (RIS) by timely updates
  • Demonstrates a commitment to safety by maintaining a clean and orderly work area for the well-being of coworkers and patients
  • Ensures alignment with ACR toolkit provisions and accreditation stipulations
  • Ensures that the equipment is well-preserved and free from contaminants by regular upkeep and sanitation post-use
  • Verifies that all rules and regulations of HIPAA are being followed accordingly

(5%) MRI Department Support

  • Assists in maintaining an imaging protocol manual that is current and implementing software enhancements
  • Regulates the monitoring of medical supplies stock and requests replenishment as appropriate
  • Supports the training of new associates by offering resources and expertise in their respective roles

(5%) Completes other tasks as assigned

Requirements

Required:

  • ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing
  • Graduate of the American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography
  • Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
  • Must have training and experience sufficient to competently perform MRI procedures independently
  • Certification in imaging specialty
