RAYUS Radiology, formerly Center for Diagnostic Imaging, is seeking a Mammography Technologist to join its team. We are challenging the current quo by highlighting radiography as an important first step in diagnosis and therapy. Come join us and we'll shine brighter together.
As a Mammography Technologist, you will perform mammography exams for use of diagnosis and treatment of disease or injury to patients of all ages. This is a part-time, 8 hours per week, position at our Murfreesboro, TN location.
You'll join a team dedicated to delivering a broad range of screening, diagnostic, and interventional procedures with compassion and integrity to our patients, referring clinicians, and partners. We prioritize the highest standards of quality, access, service, and value. In this role, you'll contribute by applying your knowledge of diagnostic radiology and mammography principles, as well as by operating and maintaining radiologic equipment.
Essential Duties:
(55%) Patient Care & Imaging
- Produces diagnostic images of the designated area and conducts quality control activities as needed.
- Screens patients before exam for any precautions or contradictions pertaining to the examination
- Performs mammography examinations with the highest quality standards to effectively serve both the patient and the referring physician.
- Promotes and fosters positive customer relations with patients, physicians, visitors, and fellow company personnel.
- Maintains and adjusts equipment
(40%) Department Support
- Participates in staff meetings with employee involvement
- Maintains good professional relationships with radiologists and other physicians who recommend the company.
- Assists in maintaining an updated radiographic protocol manual
- Accurately maintains patient records within Radiology Information Software
- Maintains an orderly and clean work environment to encourage excellent safety behaviors among patients and coworkers.
- Assists with training of new associates, providing resource and technical expertise
(5%) Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
Required:
- ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing
- Graduate of the American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography. Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
- Must have appropriate training and experience to perform radiography procedures independently.
- Advanced modality certification
- Must have continuing CEU's in modality as required by MQSA or state specific
