As a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist at RAYUS Radiology, you will operate assigned MRI scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images. Taking a patient-centered approach, you will deliver MRI services that meet professional standards while providing excellent customer care. You will guide patients through the imaging process by clearly explaining exam procedures, addressing their questions, and ensuring a comfortable experience.
This full-time position is Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, with weekend rotation. The role also includes operating C-arm equipment as part of your duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
(90%) Patient Imaging

- Explains and prepares patients for MRI and c-arm procedures that will be performed, explaining the procedure, positioning patients so that the parts of the body can be appropriately
- Performs routine and advanced MRI procedures on designated body parts for diagnostic purposes, assisting physicians in diagnosing and treating patient conditions. Completes scans with minimal supervision and minimizes repeat imaging, while providing continuous patient support and communication throughout the procedure.
- Adjusts MRI scan and c-arm parameters correctly and as needed
- Follows physicians' orders precisely, conforms to safety regulations, to and accurately maintains patient records within Radiology Information System (RIS)
- Maintains an orderly and clean work area including equipment promoting good safety habits for patients and co-workers
- Maintains ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements
(5%) Department Support
- Assists with maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual and software upgrades
- Monitors medical supply inventory regularly and initiates supply requests as needed to ensure uninterrupted clinical operations.
- Assists with training of new associates, providing resource and technical expertise, as applicable
(5%) Completes other tasks as assigned

Requirements
Required:
- ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing, dependent on State regulations and business needs
- Graduate of the American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography
- Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
- Must have training and experience sufficient to competently perform MRI procedures independently
Preferred:
- Certification in imaging specialty
- Bilingual
