RAYUS Radiology is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will operate assigned MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images, providing patient-centered care that adheres to professional standards. You will support patients throughout the sometimes challenging imaging process by clearly explaining each step and addressing their questions and concerns.
This is a temporary/PRN position with flexible shifts and no on-call duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
(90%) Patient MRI Imaging
- Screens patient before exam for any precautions or contradictions pertaining to examination, using two patient identifiers to ensure correct patient and procedure
- Explains and prepares patients for MRI procedures that will be performed, explaining the procedure, positioning patients so that the parts of the body can be appropriately
- Independently performs routine and advanced MRI scans on specific body areas to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating illnesses or injuries, minimizing repeat scans. Provides continuous patient support by communicating throughout the procedure.
- Adjusts MRI scan parameters correctly and as needed
- Maintains a positive attitude and fosters strong working relationships with radiologists, referring providers, colleagues, and peers.
- Follows physicians' orders precisely and conforms to safety regulations to protect yourself, your patients, and coworkers
- Accurately maintains patient records within Radiology Information System (RIS)
- Keeps the work area organized and clean, fostering safe practices for patients and coworkers.
- Maintains ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements
- Maintains equipment in good working order; cleans and disinfects equipment after each use
- Ensures compliance with all HIPAA guidelines
(5%) MRI Department Support
- Assists with maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual and software upgrades
- Monitors medical supply inventory and requests supplies as necessary
- Contributes to the training of new team members by offering guidance, resources, and technical expertise as needed.
(5%) Completes other tasks as assigned

Requirements
Required:
- ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing
- Graduate of the American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography
- Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
- Must have training and experience sufficient to competently perform MRI procedures independently
Preferred:
- Certification in imaging specialty
- Bilingual

RAYUS Radiology is seeking an X-Ray/Fluoro Technologist to join our team. We are redefining the role of radiology by making it an essential first step in accurate diagnosis and effective treatment. Join us and shine brighter together!
As an X-Ray/Fluoro Technologist, you will ensure that imaging services are delivered to patients and referring providers in accordance with professional standards, while maintaining strong, positive working relationships with radiologists and referring physicians.
This is a temporary/PRN position working varied shifts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
(85%) Imaging
- Produces diagnostic images in assigned area
- Performs quality control tasks as assigned
- Promotes and motivates good customer relations with patients, physicians, visitors, and other company personnel
- Maintains an orderly and clean work area to promote good safety habits for patients and co-workers
- Maintains accurate patient records within Radiologic Information System (RIS)
- Works with a Fluoroscopy C-Arm in Surgical and Outpatient procedures
(10%) Department Support
- Participates in staff meetings with employee involvement
- Assists in maintaining an updated radiographic protocol manual
- Answers department phone calls
(5%) Performs other duties as assigned
