  • Administers regular and sophisticated DTI imaging tests on specified anatomical areas to aid physicians in the detection and management of patient maladies with limited oversight or duplication of scans, alongside delivering patient encouragement by engaging in dialogue with them during the examination
  • Correctly alters the parameters for DTI scans and adapts them when necessary, employing strategies for minimizing radiation exposure where applicable
  • Upholds a positive outlook and cultivates strong interpersonal connections with radiologists, clients seeking services, and fellow team members
  • Ensure exact compliance with physicians' directives and adhere to safety guidelines for the protection of yourself, patients, and fellow staff members
  • Ensures precise upkeep of patient records in the Radiology Information System (RIS)
  • Ensures a clean work environment to foster a culture of safety among coworkers and patients
  • Manages ACR toolkit and accreditation criteria
  • Keeps equipment well-maintained and operational; sanitizes equipment to maintain cleanliness after each use
  • Maintains compliance with the full spectrum of HIPAA requirements

(5%) DTI Department Support

  • Provides support in keeping the imaging protocol guidebook current and implementing software enhancements
  • Manages the inventory of medical supplies and makes requests for replenishments as required
  • Aids in the development of new associates through the provision of assistance and expertise in relevant resources and technical areas, as needed

(5%) Completes other tasks as assigned
