Job Description
Job Summary
As a Radiologist involved in Teleradiology at RAYUS Radiology, you benefit from the flexibility of working remotely, which eliminates the need for daily commuting, coupled with a robust support system that allows you to focus on your primary task of interpreting scans, devoid of distractions. This role enables you to engage with important cases within your sub-specialty and a mix of other cases in domains where you have expertise, thereby assisting hospitals throughout the Eastern Time Zone.
RAYUS Radiologists value efficiency as the top benefit of their teleradiology role, attributing it to the presence of a proficient support team that manages tasks which would otherwise hinder their ability to concentrate on interpretations. The support team is meticulous in loading a substantial amount of data into the system in advance, ensuring that radiologists have comprehensive information readily available for each case without the need for extensive searches. In instances of critical findings, the team proactively contacts the hospital and communicates with the relevant physician on behalf of the radiologist, enabling them to focus on their work uninterrupted. This systematic approach results in a seamless work environment that minimizes fatigue and boosts productivity during each shift.
Expanding across the Eastern Time Zone, our Teleradiology team is looking to add full-time and part-time Radiologists to our workforce. You can opt for an employee role with complete benefits or work as an Independent Contractor through a 1099 agreement. Our teleradiology department thrives on teamwork and collaboration.
RAYUS Radiology, a private practice group accredited by the Joint Commission, has a widespread presence in the United States. The teleradiology segment of the organization assists practices located in eastern time zone states such as Ohio, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Florida, and Kentucky. Radiologists at RAYUS Radiology have the opportunity to collaborate with a team of quality-focused professionals, engaging in a supportive and harmonious workplace environment. This approach contrasts with certain teleradiology positions that could potentially isolate radiologists or hinder their sense of belonging within a team.
Included are benefits like health insurance, dental plans, a 401K program with matching contributions, malpractice insurance, and other offerings. We take care of handling the fees for state licenses.
Candidates must hold certification from the Board.
Employment at RAYUS Radiology is open to all candidates on an equal basis.
